In 1987 Albert Rodriguez started a small landscaping company with the help of his father, Esteban Rodriguez, Sr. They began production on only one acre of land and called this company Ornamental Nursery and Landscaping. The business was booming right before Hurricane Andrew blew in and destroyed all they had created. With the help of government aid and insurance they were then able to build the business bigger and better than before, now on 20 acres of land.

In 1995, Esteban Rodriguez, Sr. was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Being of true Hispanic family the three brothers pulled together to keep their father's dream alive. Esteban Rodriguez, Jr. left his 20 years in automobile Retail Management position. Daniel Rodriguez sold his Partnership in a Concrete Business which he created over many years. Together the brothers teamed up in business, Esteban Jr. in Management, Daniel, Public Relations and Albert specializing in production and knowledge of the Agricultural Industry. On September 11, 1996, Esteban, Sr. passed away peacefully knowing his dreams would stay alive through the love of his sons combined dedication.

In 1997, One year after their father's death, the brothers proudly purchased 120 acres of Agricultural property, know known as Garden Depot.
